Digitex on World Urban Forum

We are spending the last days of June in Katowice, where the World Urban Forum (WUF11) is taking place.

The World Urban Forum is the world’s largest event dedicated to urban development and creating a better future. It is organized under the auspices of the United Nations.

This year’s 11th edition, whose theme is “Changing our cities for a better future,” is held for the first time in Poland.

During WUF11 we had the opportunity to participate in a number of meetings on the safe future of cities. We talked with representatives of Arab and African countries about how to prepare for potential future challenges: social, climate or pandemic.

In addition, digitex systems received a lot of attention when it comes to Smart City solutions. The premise of the Smart City concept is to develop urban areas with information and communication technology.

The solutions we have proposed, based on reliable digital technology, make it possible to monitor, analyze and respond in real time to potential threats. Digitex systems provide security and improve the quality of life for residents, tourists, authorities and entrepreneurs of modern urban agglomerations.
