SAUDI ARABIA EXPANDS CIVIL WARNING SYSTEM

More and more alarm points are being built in Saudi Arabia to warn residents of dangerous weather phenomena such as heavy rains that quickly turn streets into rushing rivers.

Behind us is another project concerning the construction of a system for alerting the population at flood control dams.

As part of the project, we supplied:
– 34 electronic warning sirens of 3000 watts powered by solar panels,
– 9 local control panels DPS-4000,
– 6 main control panels.

The electronic sirens will be installed at 9 dams, while the control panels will be mounted at 14 local control centres.
When the water level is exceeded, the electronic sirens will be automatically activated based on the signal provided by the radar water sensor. Installation of the system will have a positive impact on shortening the response time of the Civil Defence services and on more effective notification of the population.
