NEW FM RADIO MODULE IN DSE SIREN

One of the main tasks of the country’s Civil Defence is to inform the population of the imminent danger. Warning sirens and regional FM radio stations are often used to announce warning messages.

Our offer has been enriched with a new DFM-10 module. It is a receiver of radio waves transmitted in the FM band (frequency band 65 – 108 MHz). DFM-10 allows reception of a radio station and its transmission via a warning siren. The aim is to increase the coverage of announcements and reach as many people as possible.

COMMUNICATION WITH SIRENS

The DMF-10 module works with the DSE series electronic siren. It enables to announce warning messages broadcast in FM via the warning siren.
Both communication and control of the DFM-10 receiver is carried out in the RS-485 or RS-232 serial transmission standard, using the Modbus RTU protocol. This communication allows for reading and storing the frequency of the received radio station, switching on and off the receiver’s audio signal to the audio output, reading the quality of the received radio signal and optional reading of RDS information.
