The West Pomerania region has joined other areas in Poland where the public warning and alarm infrastructure was expanded in 2025 using DIGITEX technology. The project was implemented as part of the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO) and is a key step in the nationwide modernization of safety systems.
The initiative included the deployment of 79 electronic DIGITEX sirens, designed in accordance with KPO technical standards. The main contractor, FOKS, oversaw the entire process, coordinating installation and implementation activities.
Key technological features of the system include:
- Units with 600 W acoustic power, ensuring the required range of alarm signals
- Full-capacity power supply suitable for continuous operation
- Construction compliant with KPO standards (KPO sheet metal, KPO doors)
- DML control panel with a display for configuring and managing siren functions
- GSM module enabling remote triggering of alarms and event communication
- Designed for year-round outdoor operation
Work began on 16 May 2025 and was completed on 13 October 2025, with a 36-month warranty.
This implementation in West Pomerania demonstrates how DIGITEX solutions effectively support local authorities and emergency services in building a coherent, modern public warning system that meets current technical and operational requirements.
