At the turn of September and October 2025, Digitex completed a two-stage deployment of modern digital alarm sirens across the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The project was delivered under two separate public procurement procedures and represents one of the largest infrastructure initiatives in the region supporting public warning and alerting systems.
Although the new year 2026 has just begun, we would like to gradually present the National Recovery Plan projects completed in 2025, which continue to play a crucial role in ensuring public safety. Within a short period of just a few months, a total of 168 modern digital alarm sirens were delivered, installed, and commissioned, significantly strengthening the regional Public Warning and Alerting System.
Scope and scale of Digitex’s work within the Public Warning and Alerting System project
The project implementation was divided into two tender procedures:
- Tender I – 150 digital alarm sirens,
- Tender II – 18 digital alarm sirens.
Digitex, together with the installation team from Soia.pro, was responsible for the comprehensive execution of the project, including the delivery, installation, configuration, and commissioning of devices that form a key component of the regional public warning and alerting systems at facilities of the State Fire Service (PSP) and Volunteer Fire Service (OSP).
The scope of work included, among others:
- delivery of Digitex digital alarm sirens for public warning and alerting systems,
- installation of devices at locations designated by the Contracting Authority, with installation works carried out by Soia.pro,
- equipping each siren with:
- a local control panel with a display enabling local activation of the siren in the event of loss of radio and/or GSM communication,
- a GSM module for remote control within public warning and alerting systems,
- a high-performance power supply unit with backup power,
- deployment of the proprietary DigitexWAVE control software supporting modern public warning and alerting systems,
- integration with the PSP infrastructure and selective alerting systems,
- configuration of alarm signals, testing, commissioning, user training, and preparation of as-built and post-implementation documentation.

Project outcome – effective public warning and alerting systems
The deployment of modern digital alarm sirens has significantly strengthened public warning and alerting systems in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The project delivered tangible benefits, including:
- increased coverage and effectiveness of public warning,
- the ability to remotely activate sirens via the GSM network,
- ensured continuity of operation of public warning and alerting systems even in the event of power outages,
- improved equipment standards of PSP and OSP units,
- enhanced reliability of the regional crisis response system.
Modern Digitex public warning and alerting systems now constitute one of the key pillars of safety in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
