Public warning system in Świnoujście, Poland

We inform that DIGITEX has finalized the warning system in Świnoujście. Świnoujście is a city and seaport on the Baltic Sea, occupying a group of 44 islands in northwestern Poland.

The project concerned the delivery of electronic sirens and the multifunctional digitexWAVE base station that controls alarm points. In addition, the project included their installation and connection to the central alarm system of the city of Świnoujście.

Scope of work:

  • 5 DSE electronic sirens with slotted speakers (4 DSE-900S 900 W sirens, 1 DSE-600S 600W siren) equipped with a PC-550A radio module (for the digitexWAVE system) and radio,
  • DCA-4000 alarm host equipped with Kenwood NX-720 and radio.

What’s more, the implemented digitexWAVE public warning system is based on a controller using IP addressing and FDMA standard digital radio network.
