MAZOWIECKIE VOIVODESHIP IS SAFER THANKS TO NEW 163 WARNING SIRENS

We have completed the implementation of a public warning system in 17 counties in the mazovian voivodeship.

The tender was announced in spring 2022. As part of the proceedings, the contracting authority expected the delivery of alarm sirens controlled by FDMA radio transmission and Internet/LAN. According to the requirements, the sirens should be equipped with a ‘text-to-speech’ module, allowing to replace the ‘audio channel’ and obtain better quality ‘live’ voice messages.

As part of the project, 163 new warning sirens were supplied, installed and programmed. All sirens have full compatibility with the provincial system.

The implemented system consists of state-of-the-art DSE series electronic sirens with slotted speakers controlled remotely by radio, using FDMA digital radio transmission. The system is controlled using DCA-4000 control panels and digitexWAVE  dispatcher software.

Modern warning systems are an important public warning tool for the state. They make it possible to notify the population immediately of impending danger: of threatening weather conditions, emergency situations or planned work, for example, announcements to local residents. The digitex alarm system allows you to control one, several or the entire network of sirens from a single location. It also offers the possibility of intuitive use of modern functions, i.e. text to speech, making live voice announcements and communicating with external sensors.
